The Gifted, the latest effort from Washington D.C.-native rapper Wale, was released today, two years after the artist’s last studio album.  The collection includes “Rotation,” a hauntingly hollow track featuring Reservoir writer 2 Chainz.

MTV has praised Wale for The Gifted, citing “complex metaphors and similes” as part of the rapper’s newly “elevated” musicality.
