Rick Ross dropped his highly anticipated new album Port of Miami 2, today. The 15-track LP features three Reservoir cuts: Rick Ross and Swizz Beatz teamed up for the Just Blaze collab, “BIG TYME,” while A Boogie Wit da Hoodie is featured with Denzel Curry on “Running The Streets” and the album’s final track, “Gold Roses (feat. Drake),” is co-written and co-produced by Khris Riddick-Tynes. Hypebeast notes, “The perfect incorporation of his razor-edged rhymes and suave flow with production from… Just Blaze more than proves the reason behind his longevity in the game,” adding Billboard, “Port of Miami 2 unwittingly serves as a sort of time capsule for Ross’ decade-plus career: there are fellow veterans like Jeezy and Swiss Beatz in the mix, relative newcomers like Denzel Curry and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and of course, Drake, a frequent partner who shines again on the album-ending “Gold Roses.”
