MIKA RELEASES NEW ALBUM ‘MY NAME IS MICHAEL HOLBROOK’ FEATURING 6 DAVID SNEDDON COLLABS
Date:
British singer-songwriter MIKA released his latest album My Name Is Michael Holbrook, today. The 13 track LP features 6 collaborations with Reservoir’s David Sneddon: “Tiny Love,” “Paloma,” “Sanremo,” “I Went to Hell Last Night,” “Ready To Call This Love” featuring Jack Savoretti and “Tiny Love Reprise.”
HuffPost notes the album “proves Mika hasn’t lost his flair for disco-tinged exuberance” elaborating “‘Tiny Love,’ meanwhile, harks back to Elton John or ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’-era Queen with its anthemic choruses and vocal harmonies.”
Also released today, the 1950’s themed music video for “Sanremo” goes abroad, with MIKA visiting the Italian city of the same name.
My Name Is Michael Holbrook follows David Sneddon’s collaborations with Lewis Capaldi, Kovacs, Nikhil, and Saara Aalto, among others.
