In conjunciton with the release of Hibachi For Lunch, Chainz also launched a new clothing line of the same name, featuring hats, hoodies, tees, and more inspired by Japanese prints. The line joins Chainz’ existing CEO Millionaires and Dabbing Santa clothing collections.
This year has been a busy one for the rapper and entrepreneur. Hibachi For Lunch marks Chainz’ fourth project of 2016, after dropping ColleGrove, his collaboration with Lil Wayne, plus mixtapes Felt Like Cappin’ and Daniel Son; Necklace Don. In addition, he has made guest appearances on Chance The Rapper’s Coloring Book (“No Problem”), DJ Khaled’s Major Key (“Work For It“), Kanye West’s “Champions”, and Statik Selektah’s “Smoke Break”. Speaking to Billboard in August, Chainz said, “I literally go to work every single night. I record every single night so it’s not lack of music, it’s really just to find ways and different avenues to release this music.”
