Young Thug released his new compilation album Slime Language, today, coinciding with his 27th birthday. The 15-track project features collaborations with Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Gunna, and more. The hard-hitting trap album highlights Thug’s signature vocal style, while also blending in a melodic pop and R&B flavor. DJ Booth notes Slime Language has a unique “a song by song freshness” with “something new awaiting as each track begins,” likening the ATL rapper to a “bag of Skittles; multiple flavors that somehow complement one another.”

Thug also dropped the mesmerizing video for the track “Gain Clout.” The flashy and hypnotic visual features the rapper performing the bouncy cut in various car related settings.

Young Thug has had a busy 2018, releasing his three-track EP Hear No Evil in April, including an additional collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert on single “Up,” as well as featuring on Trippie Red’s “Forever Ever,” among others.
