“Señorita”- Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have teamed up on the spicy new single, “Señorita,” co-written by Ali Tamposi. Stereogum says the track “is a smooth and satisfying bit of pop songcraft that should work its way into the Song Of The Summer conversation.” The Latin-flavored cut features the pop stars in a hot and heavy relationship that ends in heartbreak.
“The London” – Young Thug ft. J. Cole and Travis Scott
Young Thug’s collaborative cut with J. Cole and Travis Scott, “The London,” is a summer playlist necessity. The first release off of Young Thug’s anticipated album, GØŁDMØÜFDÖG, is currently climbing the Billboard Hot 100. Pitchfork praised the single, “After years of having to live up to a reputation as a never-ending fountain of creativity, ‘The London’ is refreshing, in that we finally get to hear Young Thug just be the famous rap person he is instead of forcing his way down a new path.”
“Bandit” – Nicky B
Nicky B’s new single “Bandit” is filled with tropical summer vibes. The reggae-jam’s music video which has been played on BET Jams and MTV, features the singer-songwriter performing the track with dancers in front of a Jamaican flag. This reggae-pop cut will transport you to the beach with a drink in hand.
“Goddamn” – Tyga ft. A Boogie wit da Hoodie
Tyga’s new album, Legendary, features Reservoir’s newly-signed rapper, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, on the track “Goddamn.” Complex calls “Goddamn” an “aptly named new song, complete with the sort of memorable hook we’ve come to expect.” The catchy trap cut is the perfect soundtrack for a summer night out.
“religion (u can lay your hands on me)” – Shura
Shura’s “religion (u can lay your hands on me)” is the second release off of her upcoming album forevher. The funky synth-pop production paired with romantic lyrics create the perfect bop for a chill day in the sun.
“Down Bad” – J.I.D, J. Cole, Bas, EarthGang and Young Nudy
Dreamville Records’ star-powered “Down Bad” is one of the first singles off of the highly anticipated album, Revenge of the Dreamers III. The track features rap heavyweights – Reservoir’s J.I.D, J. Cole, Bas, EarthGang and Young Nudy. The trap track features J.I.D spitting fire on the intense beat. Get ready to grab the aux and play this cut at every summer get-together.
“Call You Mine” – The Chainsmokers with Bebe Rexha
Ali Tamposi co-write, “Call You Mine,” performed by The Chainsmokers and Bebe Rexha is the epitome of a summer jam. MTV describes “Call You Mine” as “the collab that will make us cry and dance all summer long. In this nostalgic, free-feeling, feel-good track, The Chainsmokers and Rexha have come together to deliver a song that has all the elements of an instant summer hit. Blast it till your speakers break.” Debuting at #1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Digital Songs chart, “Call You Mine” is destined to be stuck in our heads all summer long.
“GOMF” – DVBBS ft. BRIDGE
“GOMF” (Get Out My Face) is EDM duo DVBBS’ latest banger. The track went viral after Instagram sensation Casey Frey posted a video of him dancing to the DVBBS cut. To date, the video received over 5.8 million views on Instagram and over 27.7 million views on Twitter, sparking a popular dance challenge. “Crypt Keeper” – Black Grapefruit
Black Grapefruit recently returned with their new single, “Crypt Keeper.” Premiering on Highsnobiety, the track is the first release off of the group’s forthcoming album, Fade/Forget, due out later this summer. Highsnobiety remarks, “…Black Grapefruit understands your state of mind and knows exactly how to take the edge off.” “Crypt Keeper” is the perfect track to listen to as you unwind after a long day in the sun.
“Better In Color” – Lizzo
Lizzo’s “Better In Color” co-written by The Orphanage is a self-love anthem. Apple Music calls the track “a stomping, woke plea for people of all stripes to get together—she offers an important message: It’s not enough to love ourselves, we also have to love each other.” The empowering cut is a great way to set the mood for any summer activity.
