STATIK SELEKTAH RELEASES INSTRUMENTAL ALBUM ‘MAHALO (THE HAWAII INSTRUMENTALS)’
Date:
Statik Selektah released his first-ever instrumental album, Mahalo (The Hawaii Instrumentals), today via Showoff Records. The tropical-inspired album is filled with Reggae influences, and infectious beats, which Ambrosia For Heads praised as “dynamic music that fits many moods and situations. Whether at the beach, the bar, or in the car, this can be the soundtrack…From the LP’s opening notes of familiarity on “For Your Love,” to the Reggae-influenced, piano-laced “Pair A Dice,” Selektah makes an impactful and unique first-time record.”
This project follows Statik’s collaborative album with rapper Terminology, Still 1982, along with his joint album with rapper Millyz, Saints & Sinners.
