Reservoir writer/producer Statik Selektah dropped “Smoke Break” this morning, a new collaboration with fellow Reservoir roster artist, rapper 2 Chainz. The cut features Chainz rapping about his lifestyle luxuries over Statik’s signature boom bap beats.
The release has fans wondering if Statik could be foreshadowing an 8th album project to follow 2015’s Lucky 7–the producer teased the possibility on Soundcloud using a mysterious 8-ball photo and suggestive caption under the song’s stream.
