Reservoir writer and producer Statik Selektah teams up with Nike once again to pen original music for a new Jordan ad campaign featuring Drake. The ad features the Grammy-nominated rapper reflecting on his first pair of Jordans and what the brand means to him, set to a slick production beat by Statik.

This spot is the latest collab between Statik and Nike’s Jordan brand; before the hip-hop producer penned original music for last year’s Space Jam-inspired spot featuring Los Angeles Clippers Forward Blake Griffin alongside Marvin The Martian and Bugs Bunny, he leant the cut “All The Way” to their 2014 Air Jordan XX9 campaign.

Statik is gearing up for the debut of his new album STATIKKXNG, a collaboration with California rapper Kxng Crooked, to be released on Friday. He also recently produced rapper WestSide Gun’s latest track “50 Inch Zenith”.
