Date:
The Nashville Chapter of the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) announced the nominees of the fifth annual AIMP Nashville Awards, today, with Reservoir’s Sam Sumser notably earning a nomination for “AIMP Rising Songwriter of the Year.” Furthermore, Reservoir’s VP of Creative, Greg Gallo, also received a nomination in the prestigious “AIMP Song Champion of the Year” category.
The in-person award ceremony was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with winners instead now receiving their awards via mail. Voting is due to start the 20th and run through the 24th, with the results announced the following week. AIMP Nashville President & Reservoir EVP of Creative John Ozier noted via Music Row, “While we wish we could bring the Nashville community together at the Ryman this year, we’re still excited to honor the hard work of our local independent publishers and songwriters. In times like these, we need music even more than ever. These companies and individuals are doing their part to keep people entertained during this unpredictable time, and they must be celebrated.”
