IYRTITL became the first record released in 2015 to go Platinum, due in part to its heavy streaming rotation, as it was named the #2 most streamed album on Spotify this year. To top things off, the album received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album.
“How Deep Is Your Love” by Calvin Harris + Disciples featuring Ina Wroldsen
Co-written and featuring vocals by Reservoir writer Ina Wroldsen, “How Deep Is Your Love” rapidly emerged as a global smash after its release in July of this year. In addition to being named on both Spin’s and Apple Music’s Best Of 2015 charts, the cut claimed the #1 spot on official charts in 3 territories and Top 5 or Top 10 positions in a dozen more. It also conquered the streaming world with Top 50 placements in every territory where Spotify charts streaming activity, with nearly half of those placements in the Top 5. Meanwhile, the video, starring Gigi Hadid, has been viewed more than 287M times since its release.

Taking a page from the greats like Beyoncé and Drake, EDM heavy hitters Skrillex and Diplo also released their collaborative effort Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü as a surprise release in March of this year. The album came together with help from some of the biggest talents in music right now, including Justin Bieber and Reservoir writer/artist 2 Chainz, who is featured on the cut “Febreze”. Jack Ü picked up a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album in addition to nabbing spots on Rolling Stone and Complex’s Best of 2015 lists.
Documentary 2 by The Game
Documentary 2, the sixth studio album by The Game, was the follow up to the American rapper’s debut album, The Documentary, released a decade earlier. The record features a myriad of collaborations including one with Kanye West, entitled “Mula” which features a sample of “Fall In Love” by Reservoir writers Sarah Barthel & Josh Carter (pka Phantogram). Documentary 2 debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart and was named on both NPR’s and Complex’s Best of 2015 lists.

Dreams Worth More Than Money by Meek Mill
Reservoir producer and hit-maker Danja contributed to Meek Mill’s latest record Dreams Worth More Than Money, earning a producing credit on the track “Stand Up”. The album topped both the national Top 200 and Hip-Hop/R&B charts in the U.S. in its debut week. Complex also named it one of their Best Albums of 2015.
“Start Again” by Conrad Sewell
Co-written by Reservoir writer Jamie Hartman, “Start Again” performed by Aussie sensation Conrad Sewell has been making massive waves in Australia, recently nabbing the Song Of The Year award at the ARIAs, after topping the ARIA charts earlier this summer. The song quickly went Gold, and has since been certified Platinum. Stateside, Conrad Sewell was named the Today Show’s Artist Of The Month for June which saw him perform the hit song on television.
“Hold My Hand” by Jess Glynne
British sensation Jess Glynne broke out this year due, in part, to the hit song “Hold My Hand” written by Reservoir writer Ina Wroldsen. “Hold My Hand” debuted at #1 in the UK and held the position for three consecutive weeks. The full-length album I Cry When I Laugh featuring “Hold My Hand” also topped the charts upon its release in August and has remained in the top 10 in the UK since.
