Reservoir (NASDAQ: RSVR), an award-winning independent music company, together with Mushroom Music, Australia & New Zealand’s leading independent music publisher, today announced the co-signing of Australian singer-songwriter grentperez to a worldwide publishing deal for his entire catalog and future works. The collaborative joint-venture will see Reservoir and Mushroom Music work together on all creative and administrative aspects of grentperez’ songwriting career.

Born and based in Australia, grentperez is a young artist on the rise, transitioning from bedroom popstar to international sensation. He initially rose to fame with viral YouTube covers, amassing over 75 million views and 650k subscribers on his channel. grentperez went on to pen and record his own music, earning acclaim for his 2021 debut single “Cherry Wine.” The track impressed global audiences, hitting #1 on Spotify’s Viral Charts in his native Australia, as well as in Canada and Singapore.

With over 350 million listens on streaming platforms, grentperez has continued to garner fans with releases including his debut EP Demo(s) About Love and his most recent EP When We Were Younger, both released by Fast Friends. This year, he also headlined his first tour in the U.S., which sold out across the country, ahead of an upcoming headlining tour in Australia, beginning in December. To date, grentperez’s endeavors have earned him industry recognition, including by Spotify and Fender, who respectively selected him to be part of their coveted RADAR and Next programs, as well as a nomination for the 2023 ARIA Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist. This month, grentperez released a new holiday single “Christmas Starts Tonight,” and he’ll cap off his breakout year in style by performing at the Sydney Opera House for ABC’s national New Year’s Eve telecast.
