Houston rapper Fre$h dropped his new single “Petty” featuring 2 Chainz and 50 Cent, today. The chill yet biting track was inspired by “necessary pettiness”, as Fre$h elaborated via email with The FADER, “just because you don’t do something doesn’t mean you can’t.”

This collab is the latest in a long line of recent projects for 2 Chainz’, which include Mike WiLL Made It’s new track “Y’all Ain’t Ready”, the Drake hit, “Sacrifices”, from his chart topping More Life playlist, and Migos’ cut “Deadz”, in addition to 2 Chainz’ own releases “It’s a Vibe” and “Smartphone” from his upcoming album, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, due out later this year.
