QUAVO DROPS DEBUT SOLO ALBUM ‘QUAVO HUNCHO’ FEATURING OFFSET & TAKEOFF COLLAB
Date:
ATL rapper Quavo released his solo debut album QUAVO HUNCHO today, via Quality Control Music. The 19-track LP features collaborations with fellow Migos members Takeoff and Offset on cuts “KEEP THAT SHIT” and “FUCK 12” respectively, as well as an interpolation of Reservoir catalog cut “In My Feelings” by Drake on salacious track “HUNCHO DREAMS”. Rolling Stone notes Takeoff’s verse on the laidback “KEEP THAT SHIT” that “continues to prove he’s the true North Star, artistically and skill-wise, of Migos,” while DJ Booth calls the political “FUCK 12” a “roller coaster” with Offset’s strong flow “bobbing and weaving through these keys”.
Migos have had a whirlwind year, releasing their #1 Billboard 200 third studio album Culture II, summer single “Hot Summer” with DJ Durel, and an array of features & collaborations with the likes of 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Cardi B, Travis Scott, Sean Paul and more. Cementing their superstar status, the trio took home the top prize for Favorite Duo or Group – Pop/Rock at this week’s 2018 American Music Awards.
