MILEY CYRUS TEAMS UP WITH STEVIE NICKS FOR “EDGE OF MIDNIGHT (MIDNIGHT SKY REMIX),” CO-WRITTEN BY ALI TAMPOSI

Miley Cyrus released a collaboration with Stevie Nicks, mashing up her single “Midnight Sky,” co-written by Ali Tamposi, with Nicks’ iconic rock cut “Edge of Seventeen.” The single, entitled “Edge of Midnight (Midnight Sky Remix),” dropped a few weeks before Cyrus’ upcoming studio album Plastic Hearts is set to be released on November 27th. The remix has garnered over 1.3 million Spotify streams in only a few days since its release, while the original version of Miley’s hit single peaked at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Regarding the remix, Rolling Stone says, “Unsurprisingly, Cyrus’ synth-pop banger blends perfectly with Nicks’ 1982 hit,” adding that “Cyrus is in her element when calling back to classic rock legends.”
