MATT SIMONS RETURNS WITH THIRD STUDIO ALBUM ‘AFTER THE LANDSLIDE’ FEATURING JAMIE HARTMAN COLLAB
Date:
Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Matt Simons released his third studio album After the Landslide, today. The album’s title track, a piano ballad co-written and produced by Jamie Hartman, features flawless vocals and uplifting lyrics, telling the story of a person moving forward after a life-altering event.
Rockol declares the cut “speaks directly to the soul and, even if musically it is a chapter almost to itself, well represents the ‘heart’ of the album.”
Simons reveals he “chose After The Landslide as the title track because for me, it encapsulates what the whole album is about more than any other.” He further states, “this record is about a quarter-life crisis. It’s about ‘blowing up your life,’ starting over and all the cathartic yet terrifying things that go along with it.”
