Danish singer-songwriter Malo dropped her double-sided single “I Wanna Be in a Movie” and “End of the World,” today via Lifted House. Fun and frothy, “I Wanna Be in a Movie” has Malo examining the fantasy of film, proclaiming she’s “going all the way/ to Hollywood to say/ I wanna be in a movie” in which she can “be the one who saves the world in time.” The cut earned a featured placement in Spotify’s coveted New Music Friday playlist in Malo’s native Denmark. While the slightly darker indie-pop “End of the World” enchants listeners with it’s hypnotic vocals, detailing a precarious relationship.
