Nick Lee is a Chinese and Japanese-American record producer, songwriter, composer and trombonist. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Nick’s musical background spans from classical piano to classical and jazz trombone, the latter of which he studied at The Juilliard School in New York. After two years, he returned to LA to pursue a career in music production and was signed to his first publishing deal by Scooter Braun. Since then, Nick has garnered two Grammy nominations and multi-Platinum certifications for his work on 2021’s breakout hit “INDUSTRY BABY” by Lil Nas X featuring Jack Harlow, which he co-produced alongside Take A Daytrip and Kanye West. The record marks his #1 debut on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart and Top 40 radio.

Nick has broken ground as an Asian-American producer on a global scale, lending his sound to both American and international stars like Megan Thee Stallion, JJ Lin, Mustard, Vince Staples, Dillon Francis, Stray Kids and more. Recently, he produced the highly anticipated debut album ALPHA by K-pop superstar CL, rendering her a commercial hit in Asia.
Alongside record production, Nick has also segued into scoring for TV and film, composing for network TV shows such as NBC’s Grand Crew, for which he composed the entire score and the theme song, and FOX’s Welcome to Flatch.
