New Jersey native KayGee is a founding member of the Grammy Award winning Tommy Boy Records’ group Naughty by Nature. He wrote and produced the NBN classics “O.P.P.”, “Hip Hop Hooray”, “Uptown Anthem”, Written On Ya Kitten”, and “Feel Me Flow” among many others. In addition he produced the single “U.N.I.T.Y.” for Tommy Boy labelmate Queen Latifah.

In the 90s KayGee founded his own label, Divine Mill. Artists included Zhané, with their hit single “Hey Mr. DJ,” the group Next, with their singles “Too Close” and “Wifey,” and Jaheim with his tracks “Put That Woman First” and “Just In Case,” all collaborations by KayGee.

KayGee has also written and produced songs for 50 Cent, Aaliyah, Big Pun, Fat Joe, Notorious B.I.G, Will Smith, Luther Vandross, Mary J. Blige and others. He currently continues to write and produce new acts under his Slugga Music label.
