Big & Rich first landed a record deal after country music superstar Martina McBride recorded a song written by the duo, “She’s a Butterfly.” Although their first album was unsuccessful, Horse of a Different Color exploded in 2004. Thanks to their hit single “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy, ” their album topped the Billboard charts. They continued to write and produce hits, coming out with their second album Comin’ To Your City in 2005 and their third album Between Raising Hell and Amazing Grace in 2007. In 2009, Big & Rich had decided to devote their time to solo projects.
