Biography

French music duo Air consists of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel. Air is associated with a variety of musical styles ranging from electronica, space pop, dream pop,  progressive rock and more. Their critically acclaimed debut album,  Moon Safari (1998),  including the track “Sexy Boy, ” was an international success. In 2000 Air composed the follow-up album,  The Virgin Suicides, which served as the score to Sofia Coppola’s debut movie of the same name. The band has since released four studio albums 10 000 Hz Legend,  Talkie Walkie,  Pocket Symphony, and Love 2, as well as the 2012 score Le Voyage Dans La Lune and 2014 soundtrack Music for Museum.
