LIL YACHTY DROPS NEW SINGLE ‘PEEK A BOO’ FEATURING MIGOS
Date:
Rapper Lil Yachty has released his new single “Peek A Boo” featuring Atlanta rap group, Migos. The cut will be part of Yachty’s debut album, Teenage Emotions, due out later this year on Quality Control Music/Capitol and Motown Records. Entertainment website Global Grind notes the track is “a match made in trap music heaven”.
Coinciding with the single’s release, the group dropped a music video for the track, which is garnering attention for its artsy, dark vibe and mesmerizing visuals. Further adding to the single’s buzz is Migos’ Takeoff’s fourth verse in which addresses the controversy on who popularized the now ubiquitous “dabbing” dance move. “I know it was some speculation ’bout who the one, but we invented the dabbin’”, he proclaims.
Migos’ own chart topping smash hit, “Bad and Boujee” ft Lil Uzi Vert has been nominated for two Billboard Music Awards, Top Rap Song and Top Rap Collaboration.
