LADY GAGA PERFORMS “LUSH LIFE” AT MONTREAL JAZZ FEST
Date:
Montreal Jazz Fest got a surprise visit from none other than international pop star Lady Gaga this week, as the singer crashed a set by Tony Bennett in advance of the pair’s upcoming dual album, Cheek To Cheek. Gaga departed from her typical dance-pop style to perform “Lush Life”, one of the most popular jazz standards created by the late composer, Billy Strayhorn, for whom tributes in recognition of his centennial birth year will kick off in 2015.
