Dutch singer Kovacs released her sophomore album, Cheap Smell, today via Wolf Recordings. The album features three tracks co-written by Reservoir’s David Sneddon ranging from the reflective “Mama & Papa” to pop power ballad “Skyscraping,” and album closer “Final Song.” The dark and personal tone of the lyrics are highlighted throughout by Kovac’s powerful and emotional vocals.
