Kandace Springs released her sophomore studio album Indigo, today, featuring the Jamie Hartman co-written and produced single “Breakdown”. The soulful pop ballad speaks on the strength of love and the consequences of a potential failing relationship. Rolling Stone notes the emotional cut, “an original co-written with Top 40 ace Jamie Hartman, is sturdy and unrestrainedly sentimental” that could “fit easily on a rom-com soundtrack”.

The music video for “Breakdown” gives viewers an intimate look at the vulnerable Springs, as she croons to the camera with a piercing gaze.
