Reservoir/One Riot writer Jon Decious took home the Rising Songwriter of the Year prize at the 2025 AIMP Nashville Awards. Decious has had many successful collaborations this year, including co-writing “Counting Chickens,” “Ring Finger,” and hit single “4X4XU” all off of Lainey Wilson’s acclaimed, Grammy-nominated album Whirlwind. “4X4XU” reached #1 on the Mediabase Country Airplay chart and is notably nominated for Song of the Year and Visual Media of the Year at the upcoming 2025 ACM Awards, with Whirlwind earning a nod for Album of the Year. Decious has also collaborated on music by Lola Kirke, Rotundo, and more this year.
