Reservoir writer Joey Bada$$ is nominated for BMI’s Social Star Award, a prize honoring the BMI songwriter who truly engages with their social following. Fans can cast their vote for Joey by liking this Instagram photo and tweeting using the hashtag #VoteJoeyBadass. Joey is nominated alongside rappers Lil Dicky and Logic.

In celebration of his fans who helped him achieve success, Joey debuted the music video for his song “Devastated” last week on a tour bus driving throughout New York City. He performed the song for crowds at each stop along the route, while the video projected on the side of the bus. The performances were an additional treat for fans, who were invited to the music video shoot last month as extras.

The voting period is open now and closes Sunday, August 28. The award will be presented at BMI’s RnB Hip Hop Music Awards on Thursday, September 1, 2016.
