JACQUEES DROPS NEW ALBUM ‘KING OF R&B’ FEATURING COLLABS WITH YOUNG THUG & XL

Jacquees released his new album King of R&B today featuring 4 Reservoir cuts. The 18-track LP includes a collaboration with Young Thug and Gunna on “Verify,” alongside three collaborations with Reservoir’s XL on “EEeee” feat. TK Kravitz, “Warning,” and “All You Need” feat. Quavo and Bluff City.
The Atlantic calls the Young Thug featured track “a highlight,” further adding, “the interplay between Young Thug and Gunna is dynamic and layered, a welcome return to the kind of rap-R&B collaborations that were everywhere in the early aughts.” Hypebeast additionally notes that with King of R&B, “Jacquees has defined his new LP as a ‘deeper’ and more ‘mature’ effort, with a heavier emphasis on exploring the concepts of ‘relationships’” and “’love.’”
