HURTS RELEASES NEW SINGLE “READY TO GO” CO-WRITTEN BY RESERVOIR/REVERB MUSIC WRITER DAVID SNEDDON
Date:
English synth duo Hurts released new single “Ready to Go,” co-written by Reservoir/Reverb Music writer David Sneddon, on Friday. The upbeat electronic song masks underlying vulnerability and darkness, a repeating theme in Hurts’ music.
In conversation with NME, the two stated that their upcoming album is “full of passion, pain and lust…and some of the best music [they’ve] ever made.” The UK-based artists will be releasing their forthcoming album “Desire” on September 29th, which features eight songs also co-written by Sneddon.
Sneddon has co-written other Hurts hits including “Beautiful Ones,” in addition to “Modern Love” by The Courteneers, Lewis Capaldi’s “Lost On You,” and Jessica Mauboy’s “This Ain’t Love.”
