HURTS RELEASES NEW ALBUM DESIRE WITH 8 TRACKS CO-WRITTEN BY DAVID SNEDDON
Date:
British synth pop duo Hurts dropped their fourth studio album, Desire, today via Columbia Records. The thirteen track album features an impressive eight songs co-written by Reservoir/Reverb Music’s David Sneddon: singles “Beautiful Ones” and “Ready To Go”, as well as tracks “Something I Need To Know”, “Thinking Of You”, “Chaperone”, “Boyfriend”, “Wait Up” and “Magnificent”.
Released earlier this year, the music video for single “Beautiful Ones” has since been heralded by Paper Magazine for it’s emotional message on Anti-LGBTQ related violence. The magazine also took note of the track’s meaningful theme as an “anthemic.. bold song about unapologetically being yourself even in times of resistance”. Additionally, the video for “Ready To Go” was released last month, racking up over two million views to date.
David Sneddon’s recent projects include co-writing Scottish breakout star Lewis Capaldi’s “Lost On You” and English rock group the Courteeners’ “Modern Love”.
