Reservoir Founder & CEO Golnar Khosrowshahi and President & COO Rell Lafargue have been named to Billboard’s 2025 Power List. The annual list includes industry leaders who have excelled beyond their roles and elevated music business, from label executives to agents to music publishers.

Billboard recognized the Company’s achievement in signing deals with Snoop Dogg, k.d. lang, and Kings of Leon, among others, with new acquisitions for the catalogs of Billy Strange and Big D Evans. They also praised Steph Jones‘s smash hit song “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter. On the success of Jones and “Espresso,” Khosrowshahi commented, “Achievements like this are a testament to the strength of our creative and value enhancement teams who support our roster of creators.” Coverage also shared Khosrowshahi’s thoughts that while the industry will always face new challenges, “we are seeing unprecedented growth and benefitting from new technologies and increased global access to streaming, which reinforces that music assets will either maintain or increase in value.”
