DVBB’s New Single ‘GOMF’ Ignites Dance Challenge
Date:
Canadian electronic dance music duo DVBBS’ new single featuring BRIDGE, “GOMF,” which stands for “get out my face,” has become the dance jam of the summer. Since its release on May 3rd, “GOMF” has picked up a lot of buzz, notably racing up Spotify’s Viral 50 charts in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Iceland. Chillfiltr notes the cut “reconnects us to that deep club sound, here with some added tropical flavor. The kick drum, the bass line, and the drone-like melody, all work together to build the driving pulse that will keep you on the dance floor at 3am.” Along with the rave reviews for the summer collaboration, Instagram sensation Casey Frey posted a video dancing to “GOMF” earlier this month. The video immediately went viral and racked up 4.4 million views to date, sparking a new dance challenge in which people are posting their entertaining and amusing recreations of Frey’s smooth moves to the hit single.
