DRAKE’S ‘TAKE CARE’ NOMINATED FOR GRAMMY AWARD
Date:
Take Care, the second studio album from Toronto-born rapper Drake, has been nominated for Best Rap Album at the 55th annual Grammy Awards, against such heavyweights as Nas, The Roots, Rick Ross, Lupe Fiasco, and Reservoir’s own 2 Chainz.
Black Fountain songwriter Jawann Peacock contributed to the Take Care track “Look What You’ve Done,” on which Drake raps about his tumultuous relationships with his mother and uncle, who raised him. As XXL magazine wrote in their review of Take Care, the emotional ballad “tugs on the heartstrings.”
