Christina Aguilera dropped her latest single “Accelerate” featuring Reservoir’s 2 Chainz and rapper Ty Dolla $ign, today. The innovative track, off the pop diva’s upcoming eighth studio album Liberation due out June 15th, seamlessly blends together pop, hip-hop and R&B while highlighting Aguilera’s powerhouse soulful vocals throughout. People Music calls the single a “laidback R&B gem,” while Stereogum notes 2 Chainz’ “commanding guest verse” and Christina herself says “I love 2 Chainz’ part” in an interview with Billboard.
