Disney released the official theme song of the upcoming film Mulan, “Loyal Brave True,” performed by Christina Aguilera, co-written and produced by Jamie Hartman, & co-written by Billy Crabtree. Billboard noted “The song is filled with the undeniable warrior spirit we’ve all come to love Mulan for” with lyrics such as “Should I ask myself in the water what a warrior would do? / Tell me underneath my armor, am I loyal, brave, and true?” Furthermore, Aguilera elaborated the cut “represents the fine balance between vulnerability and strength.” The track was released alongside a Spanish-version titled “El Mejor Guerrero.”

Recently, Hartman has also collaborated with Louis Tomlinson on “Walls,” “Fearless,” and “Kill My Mind” off the singer’s debut album Walls as well as collabs with Celeste on “Strange” and “Stop This Flame,” while Billy Crabtree released his latest single “Hate Me” earlier this year under his stage name RESPONS.
