Chris Brown’s sixth studio album, X, is largely a decided departure from the bright sound of his early career pop-driven R&B (see: “Run It“, “Gimme That“, “Forever“, “With You“). Still, there’s enough reference to Michael Jackson-style pop-R&B, contemporary electro-R&B, and bass-heavy trap beats to entice every era of Chris Brown fans, facilitated in part by Reservoir writer Danja, who enjoys credits on “Add Me In” and “Stereotype”.

The expert pop-R&B writer and producer also contributed to Brown’s Grammy-nominated 2012 effort, Fortune, where he produced “Till I Die.”
