CAMILA CABELLO’S “HAVANA” CO-WRITTEN BY ALI TAMPOSI EARNS #1 SPOT ON UK CHARTS

Camila Cabello has taken the crown! Earning her first #1 single, “Havana,” co-written by Reservoir writer Ali Tamposi, topped the Official UK charts today.
The smash hit was accompanied by a theatrical music video last month, which is quickly closing in on 100 million views. The “Havana” collab has also recently reached 200 million streams on Spotify, as announced by the singer via her Instagram.
Reservoir currently has three of the Top 5 spots on the UK Official charts, with Post Malone’s “Rockstar,” co-written by Joey Bada$$, moving to #2 after three weeks at #1, and Avicii feat. Rita Ora’s “Lonely Together,” also co-written by Tamposi, sitting at #4.
Ali Tamposi won a Spotify Secret Genius Award in the Dance category for her contributions to dance-pop hits including Kygo and Selena Gomez’s “It Ain’t Me,” and the DJ Snake smash “Let Me Love You” featuring Justin Bieber. Tamposi’s other recent projects include the Selena Gomez and Marshmello collaboration “Wolves,” Rita Ora’s “Anywhere,” and Hailee Steinfeld and Alesso’s “Let Me Go” featuring Florida Georgia Line and Watt.
