BRUCE ROBERTS PENS HILARY CLINTON CAMPAIGN SONG ‘STRONGER TOGETHER’
Date:
Reservoir writer Bruce Roberts put his songwriting skills to political use with a custom track created for the campaign of Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton. The song, “Stronger Together”, performed by American Idol finalist Jessica Sanchez, debuted last night at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. The DNC is also throwing a fundraiser honoring former President Bill Clinton today, where DJ Cassidy is slated to play the song.
This is not the first time Roberts has aligned himself with political figures in the States; in 2011, he and other Hollywood influencers met with President Barack Obama, helping to shape the national political conversation surrounding Obama’s 2012 re-election. The following year, he attended Obama’s fundraiser for LGBT rights hosted at Los Angeles’ Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
