The Department of State and YouTube recently announced the new roster of U.S. Global Music Ambassadors, including Reservoir songwriter-artists BRELAND and Armani White. The U.S. Global Music Ambassadors are artists chosen for promoting peace across generations and have demonstrated excellence in their field.  

The U.S. Global Music Ambassadors are a diverse group of artists, who span different genres and communities. These music ambassadors will engage in efforts to increase equality, inclusion, and access to education. This partnership stems from the PEACE (Promoting Peace, Education, and Cultural Exchange) Through Music Diplomacy Act, which was enacted in 2022. The law authorized the State Department and the private sector to collaborate utilizing music to “meet the moment, convey American leadership globally, and create connections with people worldwide.”
