BJ THE CHICAGO KID RELEASES NEW ALBUM ‘1123’ FEATURING 4 RESERVOIR CUTS
Date:
Rapper BJ The Chicago Kid dropped his new album 1123, today. The 13-track LP features four Reservoir cuts, including the Danja co-produced laidback “Feel The Vibe” featuring Anderson.Paak and funky “Champagne,” alongside collaborations with Reservoir’s J.I.D and Offset. J.I.D. teams up with BJ The Chicago Kid, Buddy, and Kent Jamz on smooth track “Get Away.” Entertainment Weekly further elaborated on the cut, noting “Dreamville rapper J.I.D’s flow is luscious over the smoky staccato instrumentation.” While Offset’s collaboration with the rapper on “Worryin’ Bout Me,” the album’s second single, sees the duo calling out naysayers. HotNewHipHop described the catchy track’s theme as one of “flexing on the haters and questioning those who allow you to live in their head rent free.”
