English folk-pop singer Birdy released her third studio length album, Beautiful Lies, today featuring the cut “Shadows” written with Reservoir writer Jamie Hartman. Birdy cited the song as a favorite from the record, telling Teen Vogue “‘Shadow’ makes me feel happy. It’s about wanting to be with someone, wherever they take you.” Meanwhile, the cut has earned high praise from Pop Crush, who called the track “mesmerizing” and “stunningly other-worldly”.
