Brooklyn-based producer Statik Selektah teamed up with rapper Bun B to write and release their new album TrillStatik, today. The historic album was created during an 11 hour and 40 minute live stream via YouTube, where fans were able to witness the creative process between the rappers as it was occurring live from Selektah’s Bushwick studio. The project, first released exclusively on TIDAL, features collaborations with Method Man, Big K.R.I.T., Talib Kweli, Fat Joe, and Smoke DZA, among others, in addition to four bonus tracks.

Pop Dust calls the album “one of the hottest hip hop albums to drop thus far this year,” further noting “of the 10 tracks on TrillStatik, not a single one will make you want to hit the “skip” button.”
