SCOTT STAPP RETURNS WITH SINGLE ‘PURPOSE FOR PAIN’ OFF HIS UPCOMING ALBUM ‘THE SPACE BETWEEN THE SHADOWS’

Scott Stapp released comeback single “Purpose for Pain,” today off his forthcoming album, The Space Between Shadows, due out in July. The redemptive track features introspective lyrics, heavy guitar notes, and a hard-hitting melody.
Billboard notes, the “bombastic” single “finds the Creed frontman walking through the dual fires of addiction and depression over hard-rocking guitars and propulsive drums.” Stapp emphasizes that the track “is about seeking a higher meaning, a spiritual mentality when dealing with our struggles and life’s painful moments.”
“Purpose for Pain” is Stapp’s first release since his 2017 collaborative album with Art of Anarchy, The Madness, and his 2013 solo album Proof of Life.
