“Youngblood” wins “Outstanding International Achievement”award at the APRA Music Awards

The 2019 APRA Music Awards show was held today and 5 Seconds of Summer’s smash single “Youngblood,” co-written by Ali Tamposi took home the top prize, winning the ‘Outstanding International Achievement’ award. The annual Australian ceremony celebrates“excellence in contemporary music, honouring songwriters and publishers that have achieved outstanding success in their fields.”
Since its explosive release one year ago, the hit cut has been named Australia’s best selling single of 2018 on the ARIA year-end charts, earned 7x Platinum ARIA certification, and won Apple Music’s Song of the Year at the 2018 ARIA Awards, among others.
