TOMI released her new single “Stay,” co-written by Dave Bassett, today via RCA Records. The upbeat track features funky guitar notes and a pulsing beat, as she sings, “I was alone in the wild when I saw you / Raising your hand throwing sand to the sky / Blind in the light did I find what I’m looking for / I won’t let tomorrow take it away.”
Bassett’s previous collaborations include The Revivalists’ “All My Friends,” Billy Raffoul’s “Forever,” and Bishop Briggs’ cuts “White Flag” and “Tempt My Trouble.” In addition, his contribution to Vance Joy’s Nation Of Two, featuring tracks “Lay It On Me,” “Saturday Sun,” and “Take Your Time,“ took home the award for Best Adult Contemporary Album at the 2018 ARIA Awards.
