METRO BOOMIN RELEASES ALBUM ‘NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES’ FEATURING YOUNG THUG AND OFFSET COLLABS
Date:
Record producer Metro Boomin dropped his new album Not All Heroes Wear Capes today, via Republic Records. The 13-track album includes “Up To Something” and “Lesbian” featuring Young Thug, as well as “Only You” and last year’s “No Complaints” featuring Migos member Offset.
“Up To Something” is as mischievous and amusing as the title makes it appear, hand in hand with the quirky lyrics of “Lesbian” that are typical of a Young Thug collaboration. With regards to the reggaeton inspired “Only You,” DJBooth exclaims, “Offset! Man, ‘Only You’ would’ve been a monster this past summer.” Not All Heroes Wear Capes shines a second spotlight on the catchy summer ear worm “No Complaints” which has racked up close to 121 million streams on Spotify.
The collaboration with Metro Boomin follows Young Thug’s collaborations with Future & Juice WRLD, T.I., and Quavo in addition to his EP On The RVN and Slime Language.Offset’s 2018 has been full of collaborations as well, working alongside the likes of Kodak Black, Lil Baby, fellow Migos member Takeoff, and of course, Young Thug.
