5 Reasons to Keep Your Eyes on WatchTheDuck This Summer
Date:
Summertime calls for friends, fitness, and festivals. Good thing Eddie Smith III and Jesse Rankins, collectively known as WatchTheDuck, have all three in common. It’s going to be a busy season for the artist-production team; get prepped with our five favorite reasons you should be all about WTD this Summer:
1. Their jam “Stretch 2-3-4” with Pharrell Williams is the official tune of Gatorade’s newest Propel Fitness Water ad campaign, setting the perfect tone for runs along the beach and sunny yoga retreats. Getting fit has never sounded so good. Check it out below:
2. They spin the best beats. See for yourselves, as Eddie DJ’ed the Corona Electric Beach Party at West Hollywood’s W Hotel Rooftop this past weekend:
3. They keep it sexy. If songs like “Making Luv to the Beat” weren’t enough, the guys’ interview with Playboy Radio is set to air this Summer. Looks like the Ducks crossed paths with some bunnies!
4. They share their love of music with their fans. The guys recently hosted a remix contest inviting fans to reinvent their songs. Check out the winning mix by 19 year-old Italian producer, Gwell:
5. They’re festival-friendly. Late Summer holds two awesome outdoor opportunities to catch the guys in action–September 3rd, the Ducks share the stage with Dim Mak heavy-hitters Steve Aoki and 3LAU at NYC’s Electric Zoo Festival. The next day, they head to Jay-Z’s personally curated music festival, Philly’s Made in America Festival.
