JAMIE HARTMAN EARNS IVOR NOVELLO NOMINATION FOR ‘HUMAN’
Date:
Reservoir songwriter Jamie Hartman has earned an Ivor Novello nomination for co-writing “Human” performed by Rag’N’Bone Man at this year’s awards ceremony. “Human” picked up a nomination in the PRS for Music Most Performed Work Category which honors works that received the most broadcast, online and general performance in the UK during 2017.
The global smash hit has had continued success since its release, topping iTunes charts in 33 territories and racking up #1’s on Official Charts in over a dozen countries, including an incredible twelve-consecutive-week run in Germany. Moreover, the single recently went Platinum Stateside, and took home the award for Best British Single at the BRITs this year.
This marks Hartman’s second Ivor Novello nomination. His first came in 2007 when he picked up a Best Song Musically and Lyrically nod for co-writing “Let Me Out” as the frontman of pop-rock band, Ben’s Brother. Winners for the Ivors, which honor excellence in British and Irish songwriting and composing, will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on May 31.
