NITIN SAWHNEY RELEASES NEW ‘LIVE AT RONNIE SCOTT’S’ ALBUM

Nitin Sawhney released a new live album, titled Live at Ronnie Scott’s, today via Gearbox Records. The 10-track release features live recordings of many of Sawhney’s most popular songs.
Originally recorded while playing a three-night residency at Ronnie Scott’s in London in March 2016, Sawhney ‘s live recordings of fan favorites melds together several different genre elements, including grabs from funk, blues, and flamenco. The live recordings provide both intimacy of the show, as well as the energy of the venue, all preserved on the record.
Most recently, Nitin Sawhney released a collaborative album with Joss Stone and others, titled Project Mama Earth, on November 10th. Sawhney also scored Andy Serkis’ directional debut film, Breathe, which released last month, as well as the upcoming Warner Bros. feature film, The Jungle Book: Origins.
