RAG’N’BONE MAN’S ‘HUMAN’ DEBUTS #1 IN THE UK; BIGGEST DEBUT FROM MALE ARTIST THIS DECADE

Brits Critic’s Choice winner Rag’N’Bone Man’s debut album, Human, landed at #1 in the UK, moving an incredibly 117K copies, across physical, digital, and streaming equivalents. The album earns the honor of the highest debut by any male artist this decade beating out albums by the likes of Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith. Rag’N’Bone Man’s debut also tops any previous Brits Critic’s Choice winner to date, including global superstar Adele.
Human’s success is fueled by the popularity of title track and lead single “Human”, co-written by Reservoir/Reverb Music writer Jamie Hartman. The cut topped iTunes charts in 33 territories worldwide, topped the charts in Germany for 12 consecutive weeks, and collected a host of other global #1s including the Shazam and LyricFind chart.
Human also features additional tracks written by Reservoir/Reverb Music writers. In addition to the lead track, Hartman also co-wrote the album track “Healed” while Ina Wroldsen co-wrote “Ego”.
